Death has removed another familiar figure from our streets. David Woodcook died at the home of of his son, George Woodcook at 5 on Saturday morning. He has been critically ill for several days. Funeral services at his home on Sunday afternoon were conducted by Rev. H. Hugo. Burial was at Union Cemetery. Mr. Woodcook was born in Stumptown, Ohio October 3, 1851 and was the son of James and Sarah Woodcook. He married Amanda C. Barnett May 8, 1868. He moved to this vicinity from Oklahoma 23 years ago. He belonged to the Christian Church at Pryor's Creek, Oklahoma. He leaves two sons, Walter of Eatonville, Washington and George Woodcook; 7 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
